Eagle Oxide Services will celebrate its 15 year anniversary in April 2009. Earl Busdieker and Joseph McKinley founded the company in a niche market of building lead oxide production systems. Following their original business plan, Eagle has supplied equipment and services to more than 60 customers in 20 different countries, continuously expanding its engineering capabilities and diversifying with innovative new products that use state-of-the-art technologies. With a common sense approach to engineering and a can-do attitude, Eagle continues to grow as a reliable partner with the global battery industry.
Earl Busdieker
Earl Busdieker began his career in the battery industry in 1971 as a Project Engineer during the construction of a new battery recycling, lead and lead oxide production facility in Indianapolis Indiana. As the Corporate Engineer then as Vice President of Engineering at Oxide and Chemical Corporation, an independent lead oxide manufacturer, he built five new lead oxide production plants, directed numerous research programs that were issued patents and served on technical committees of both the Battery Council International and the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium. Earl attended Eastern Kentucky University studying industrial technologies.
Joseph McKinley
Joseph McKinley began his career in the battery industry in 1986 by overseeing the quality control and environmental compliance programs at an Indianapolis battery recycler. He then went to work for Oxide and Chemical Corporation as a Project Engineer where he designed and installed lead oxide systems and develop advanced process controls with computer data acquisition. He managed projects throughout the U.S.A. and international locations. Joe graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors Degree in Geo Sciences and went on to receive a Master Degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
